I am currently Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Lincoln. Previously, I was Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Hull; College Lecturer in Philosophy at St Hugh's College, Oxford; and Junior Research Fellow in Philosophy at Worcester College, Oxford.

My main areas of research are post-Kantian European philosophy (especially Schopenhauer and Nietzsche), and the philosophy of religion. I have also written on the ethics/aesthetics distinction and the philosophy of immortality.
